yep. I was that kid. But well, I guess Max had it worse than me. because I was never shoved into the locker and almost never got into embarrasing(spelling error) situations except when I got called out because I took a few Z's in math.
wow, fox with superpowers? and snake turning evil? this is some high quality stuff. and instantly a hit for my kids. and the conflict between kitty and fox got my palms sweating. It really was a roller coaster there for a sec
never have I thought the twins of the infamous "Artemis Fowl" will be 'normal' like any other civilian and here is the very evidence of them walking the very same path as their older brother. It really seems that blood is thicker than water. both metaphorically and literally.
ahh, who can forget the race who has started the whole war of the 3 sandwing(Burn, Blaze, Blister) princesses in the first place. I went straight for this book the moment it came out. I mean, I really wanted to see the view by the humans and my thirst for answers is finally quenched
I like the design on the fresh-new under lord shaard who has a very practical name cause he rules over a land which has sharp things every where. heck, the night gives you sharp shards in the skin! (sorry for the spoiler)
I might be called a old person to laugh at the puns and jokes on this book(I don't know if these jokes are funny or not to other people) but, really. that doesn't change my view on this book. and is a good 5 stars our of 5 stars
my daughter got a B- in history so I made her read this book and she got an A- ... although she threatened to throw away the book, but in the end we made a deal and thing went well. I really recommend it for failing students in history. (it worked with my daughter.
my daughter loved it! ...although she only played with it for 1 month then went back to making her own paper dolls. and she said it really helped with the designs she were making (she was 7 at the time).
It really helps when drawing the 1900's fashion. It really helped me draw and made me many ideas on designs and feelings on how this whole ripples and how clothing works while someone is wearing them. and it's very simple.
the story of the curse on the twelve princesses and a gardener who is in love with one of the princesses. the pictures and the font of the story written really brings out the middle age story feeling.
It is a really realistic book. things that happen in this book can happen to anyone, and I liked the part where the main characters went through the changes and dealt with them their own way and became more mature.
the very one book {the island} is the very book that introduced me to the world of the game, Minecraft. reading the book again gave me so much nostalgia. I highly recommend this book and the 9 others(which I came to love) to minecraft fans and many others who like survival games.
nice story with funny comebacks and comments.I really love the part with the crazy doc chasing the duo with a big drill, and the really truthful bat Abe. (sorry for the spoiler). anyways, really loved it!
the new character, Abe is quite the kind, I-am-not-sure-if-I-should-do-this kind of character. kind, truthful to the level of shouting out the gang's location at a basis. weird and funny as always. :]
