Ready to read was one of the reading book series I read when I was learning phonics. Reading books are a great tool to use while you need to learn basic words and sentences. These reading book series are all i levels so it is easy to choose what level books yo are going to read.

The Maisy series is all consisted of bright coloured pictures and has a lively set of stories that are based in daily life matters. The characters are cute and the words are simple to read for young children.

The Branches series from Scholastic is a very nice series if you are starting early chapter books. It has the right amount of sentences and words that are needed, and the stories are all easy to understand.

The Pete the Cat storybook series is fun to read as the colors are very vibrant and catches ones eyes. The stories are not difficult to understand and you can learn basic words and sentences that are made up of English.

Olivers Jeffers is another favourite writer that I love. His books are all fantastic to read as it all has a unique storyline with humour in it. In this book there is Huey with a sweater that is different from the others. Thought provoking little story.

I literally love all the book by Dr Seuss, as it is all fun to read, and I love his creation of the weirdest animals that he draws. The context was not hard to understand and I was glad at last the two got to meet and become friends.

I love Elmer stories as the elephant is jolly as well as he has vibrant and bright color coat. The stories are simple and fun and easy to understand, so I think it will be very suitable for young age readers.

This is a series of art. I loved that the book was quite chunky and it looked beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. You can look at a lot of art pictures that are depicted in the book. I loved the theme 'Love'.

I really enjoyed the whole series of Strega Nona, known as the magic grandma.. or the witch grandma. I love his cute style of illustrations and the stories were all very engaging to read. There were magic elements so the children won't get easily bored.

If you read this book, the most thing you will want to do is putting your finger on the jelly. The colours are very vibrant and bright, so I love to look at the illustrations. The story is simple and fun to read. I love Nick Sharrett's books very much.

This series is good for babies or toddlers who are just entering the human world. The main character is a little baby, and the colour palette is very french so I like the series very much. We can learn of lots of basic words.

The Wimpy Kid series is one of my favourite series. I started when I was little, but even mow I find it very fun and entertaining to read. The stories are from daily life matters so it is very easy to engage in the stories.

This is a twist in the well known nursery rhyme There was an old lady who swallowed a fly. But different from the original nursery rhyme, the lady does not have a fatal ending, but have quite a fun and hilarious ending.

Wimpy kid is a lovely series to read if you have a mischevious kid of your own. The story is put in a diary written way, so it is much more of an easy read. The stories and episodes are easy to relate as it comes from daily life matters.

Neil Gaiman's books are always a fun to read with all the unique elements he puts in the stories. This is about a book where the father gets milk and is in explanation why the milk was late. It was a fun and hilarious read.

The Giraffe and the pelly and me was one of my favourite books, as the main character wanted to own a sweet shop of his own. The window cleaning buisness was fun also with the magic elements in the cleaners abilities.
