well the city spies get to go a lot of exotic places. I think it would be pleasant if I could go on cool spy missions, while also taking a vacation in excellent places. this time, they went to Beijing and the Great Wall of china. I am really jealous.
this book is the sequel I've been really waiting for. in this sequel, enter mother and the city spies team revs up the search for mother's children and his wife, clementine. I've always wondered what it would like to be a real spy. I don't really believe that it's going to be all that cool.
This gift will be loved by my grand daughter, I bought it for my grandson but when he's finished with it, due to being of good quality, it will be in great shape to be handed down. The absolutely love Garfield.
Just like all of the 39 clues books this series ceases to amaze me. This series makes me wonder and dream about what might happen next and what if I where in their shoes. I would recommend this book for all ages it has so many wonderful qualities that make this series AMAZING.
This was the perfect set to give my 10 year old daughter as part of her birthday presents. And it’s starting her up in a great series that I even read as a little girl. They are quite different now but still the good wholesome concept as always. Love these books and so does she.
My dragon loving daughter was so excited for this book! It is fun and interactive. It seems to be quality made and is perfect for a dragon loving child. This is so excellent. It’s very helpful for writers block and it gives ideas to the reader to create their very own story.
David Walliams is a genius and a very funny one at that !! Often compared to my favourite childhood author Roald Dahl I actually think Walliams provides a better read for todays generation of readers. Funny, sorry hilarious, sensitive, compassionate, sharp, sometimes a little naughty Walliams does it again.
What sets "Marmalade" apart is its emphasis on teaching children about the acceptance of differences among us humans. In today's diverse world, this message is more crucial than ever. The book subtly and effectively imparts the values of tolerance and understanding, making it an invaluable resource for parents and educators alike.
Dan Gutman’s signature kid-friendly sense of humor and Jim Paillot’s fun illustrations are perfectly blended in this weird holiday special you won’t want to miss—featuring bonus wacky holidays, games, puzzles, and more!
Outstanding kids' books are able to reach more than just one level of reader. This one is an example. Littlest ones will enjoy the repetition and flow of the words and phrases, older kiddos will be able to identify with the bear and recognize the other animals in the story, and maybe even solve the mystery as the bear does.
This is delightfully simple story about a boy’s adventures on a snowy day. It’s a universal story of childhood wonder and fun, artfully illustrated. It’s a perennial favorite for generations with good reason. It belongs in the pantheon of Children’s literature.
I like that Sarah wasn't in the book until the end. It just made readers wonder what will happen between John and Sarah. At times, it made the readers think that Sarah betrayed John by turning him in to the police, but I know she wouldn't do anything to hurt him. This in turn made a hot topic in Goodreads to chat about, which excited me.
One of the best thing about this series, to me, is it is something the whole family can enjoy - in this case, my wife and two children. For you parents reading this review, my children are in junior high and late elementary school. All of us enjoyed I am Number Four, and we eagerly awaited this sequel and have not been disappointed.
Nexus is the latest book by Yuval Noah Harari in which he explores some of the existential questions that concern technology and humanity and their interaction. Starting from a perspective of information and its role in increasing participation or strengthening control the work weaves together a lot of topics to try to give a perspective on how technology is impacting society in some positive but many detrimental ways.
In The Day I Was Erased we meet Maxwell Beckett. Trouble seems to follow Maxwell everywhere he goes, and he just isn’t likeable. His home life isn’t happy because his parents argue all the time. The most important thing in Maxwell’s life is his dog Monster, who he rescued. Maxwell is banned from attending a school event.
What I liked: well, it’s Percy Jackson. It’s the same sarcastic, humble, heroic boy we’ve come to love. I love that the original trio is in this together, and that they’re still the same characters and same friendship dynamic, even though they’ve gone through so much. I also love the pets and their backstories.
This book is thought provoking and great to read with kids of all ages to hear what their perspective is and then be able to share a valuable life lesson. This is one of the most beautiful books I've have read in a long time. Cried about what one child said they would save. The illustrations are equally as impressive.
Some chapters man wins and others Mars kicks his butt. The characters's personalities will make you want to reread this over and over again. The science in the book is very accurate to what we believe a Mars trip would involve. Overall a great read.
