I feel like the books are getting less and less with words and just more pictures, and I do feel like the book is being stretched out and he's making more books just to stretch it out. However, with that being said, I did like this book a lot more than the last book that just came out. But the way that the book ends, it's definitely set up for another one to come out yet again

We have really enjoyed using Stories of the World for our history curriculum. I home school our children and though they take an outside history class at a nearby learning center, I decided to supplement it with Stories of the World. They've had more fun and learned more in our short little sessions than any other class they have taken at the creative learning center they attend. They can turn around and teach what they learn to Dad when he gets home and are enthusiastic for the next lesson.

랜들먼로의 책들을 아이가 너무 좋아해서 시리즈로 웬디북에서 구입했었는데. 이 책도 좋아할것 같아 서 구매했다. 복잡한 것들을 어려운 용어 없이 알 수 있는 단어로 설명해주는데. 과학적인 용어를 몰라도 되는 수준으로 설명해주고 있다. 표지부터 너무 귀엽고 너무 쉬운 용어로 되어 있어서 큰 아이는 오히려 흥미를 보이지 않고 2호는 재미있다며 자주 들춰보는 책 중의 하나이다!!

My 10-year-old son loves these books. He devoured the first three in a matter of days and begged me for more. He says they are hilarious, suspenseful and sometimes spooky, but always end well and make him happy. I think they are great for his imagination and vocabulary.

정재승 교수님이 추천해주셔서 전부터 집에 구입해놓았던 책중의 하나이다. 처음엔 원서가 많이 어렵다면 한글로 된 번역본을 보는 것도 추천한다. 그리고 책이 많이 두꺼워서 차근차근 보는것보다 아이가 좋아하는 부분부터 차근차근 보는것을 추천한다. 흥미로운 주제들도 많이 있고 그림으로 자세히 설명해주어 좀 더 이해하기 쉬운 부분들이 많이 있다. 무튼 집에 두고 보면 좋을책!!

My son wanted to read this book set. We started the first book about a week ago, and I am pleasantly pleased. The reading is easy to follow and enjoyed by my husband down to my 9-year-old. The chapters are 1-3 pages, so it makes it nice to read. Definitely recommend this series.

Positive = This book is the most IMAGINATIVE, ADVENTUROUS and FUNNIEST in the series and I think that Andy Griffiths books out of all of them, this one is the best; 5 stars!

아이에게 원서가 어려울까봐 한글 번역본으로 대여해줬다가 퇴짜 맞고 원서 1권을 빌려주었는데 너무 재밌다며 소장하고 싶다고 하여 3권을 구매하였다.
이책은 황당하고 재미있는 가설을 세우고 그걸 실험하거나 생각해본 결과를 작가가 애기해주는 방식들로 구성되어 있는데.. 그 설정들이 너무 재미있고 위험하다는 거다. 이 책들을 읽고 이 책의 친절한 과학책도 구매하였다.

이 책은 레벨이 낮은 편이지만 깊게 이해하려면 개인적으로 책을 많이 읽은 5학년 이상 아이들에게 추천하고 싶다. 지극히 주관적이라고 하고 싶지만 동물들의 심리묘사라던지 동물과 아이가 교감하는 상황. 함축적인 의미들을 이해하려면 적어도 2번 이상은 읽게 만들고 아이가 여러번 다시 읽어보고 싶게 만든다. 동물들을 좋아하는 아이라면 더욱더 감동할만한 스토리이다!!

There is a lot of science mixed in with the story and that could have bogged the story down, but thanks to Scieszka's explanations and Bigg's diagrams, it doesn't. In fact, I learned some things I didn't know, even after all my schooling. This book is perfect for budding scientists and for all readers just starting to realize that one doesn't need big muscles to be a hero. Recommended.

This was the second book by Grace Lin I have read. I enjoyed the stories that were woven throughout the main story. I love seeing her pictures throughout the book and wish there were more.
As with her book, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, Grace Lin uses a young girl to show us how we all have the ability to overcome obstacles, no matter how useless we may feel.

Almost every girl can find something to enjoy with these stories. We even started on the Max Crumbley series. Thank Mrs Russell for finding the voice of a middle school girl in ways that are as honest as they are silly, selfish as they are giving, and introspective as they are drama-filled. One more note* - these are GREAT AR books for those of us who have "levels to meet and points to gain". -You know who you are ;).

I love David Walliams' books because they are so entertaining and fast pace, this one was also entertaining and very fast pace . but it wasn't as entartaining as the ones by David Walliams I've read before. Still, it was great and very enjoyable, and I am sure that younger readers will enjoy it.

As soon as this book came out, I knew I had to get it. I have read all of The One and Only series with my kids and this one does not disappoint. Funny, thoughtful, meaningful and extremely well written, Katherine Applegate pulls at your heartstrings while also teaching great life lessons.

My daughter loves this book! Very bright and colorful illustrations. Wonderful facts about sea animals. We read this book all the time. It’s one of my daughters favorites. This book would be great to gift to someone.

I honestly loved this book sm. Breezpelt has changed his character, which makes the book interesting to read, also, we learn that Crowfeather loved the three once he found out that they were his, and he finally loves Breezpelt. Great character development, both of them.

Such a strange and silly series but my son really likes them! He’s in second grade and the short chapters are easy for him to read aloud or before bed. Decent price for the set. Young kids will enjoy!
