Besides the box having some damage the books look great! I started reading the first one and loved it so much I had to order them all! They are great and the art is so fun. I'm almost 40 years old and I recommend these for ALL ages. These aren't good just for kids, they are great for adults as well!

윙스 오브 파이어를 좋아하는 아이라면 다른 번외편 시리즈들도 다들 좋아하고 자꾸 보게 될것이다.
그렇기에 아이들 둘다 모두 번외편 시리즈들도 자주 보는 책중에 하나이고 드래곤슬레이어 말고도 번외편 시리즈가 한 권 더 있는데 그것과 더불어 애정하는 책중에 하나이다. 워낙 인기 시리즈라 그래픽노블로도 나와있어서 둘째 아이는 그래픽노블도 또 다른 재미를 준다고 한다.

이책은 헤일메리 프로젝트라고 한글 번역판으로 나와있고 작가의 3번째 책인데. 전 아이와 같이 보고 싶은 마음에 먼저 한글판으로 보았는데 자꾸 멈출 수 없을 정도로 재미있었어요. 또한 아이가 보기에 적절하지 않은 용어가 나오는데 그건 내용 흐름상 어쩔 수 없는 부분이고 그에 비해 내용 자체가 너무 재밌고 흥미진진해서 강추합니다. 곧 영화가 개봉한다고 기다리고 있는데 그전에 읽어보면 좋을것 같아요

I have to give the Holm's credit. I would never have thought of an amoeba as a book character. Squish behaves like a kid and deals with things that kids deal with (a greater interest in comics than studying, bullying, etc.). The book was amusing enough.

I found this book after finding a knitting pattern for the smelly socks. I made the socks and put them with the book for a Christmas present for my five year old granddaughter. She liked the socks but loves the book. In fact this has become one of her favorite books. The illustrations are wonderful and the story is good too.

넷플릭스 시리즈를 보고 나서 재밌어 하여 책까지 찾아보게 된 시리즈!!
고학년 초등 여자아이라면 흥미진진하게 빠져들만한 스토리다. 또한 판타지적인 요소들이 많이 들어있고 책 내용은 짧지만 책 레벨은 좀 높은편이라 이해할만한 수준이 되어있을때 가볍게 읽은만한 시리즈라고 생각된다. 또한 책과 넷플릭스 시리즈를 같이 병행해도 좋고 한글 번역본으로도 나와 있으니 찾아보는걸 추천!

처음엔 번역본으로 빌려보았다가(위험한 과학책 시리즈) 아이가 너무 좋아하여 구매하게된 시리즈!!
아이의 말을 빌리자면 이상하고 엉뚱한 질문을 과학적으로 설명하는게 너무 웃기며 책에 나오는 그림 또한 너무 리얼리티하게 그려놓아서 흥미를 더하는 포인트 중의 하나라고 한다. 이책의 저자는 정말 천재적이라며 극찬을 하며 다른책도 사달라고 하여 구입할 예정이다!! 추천!!

Are you stirring this book a few days ago now that I finished with the book I am amazed I will not reveal any of the characters except my favorite one I do not want to ruin the book. Yet again this author is amazes me. I am going onto the next book hunted.

한글책으로도 워낙 유명하고 저학년이라면 꼭 읽어봐야 할 책중의 하나인데. 이책을 가지고 글쓰는 방법들을 만들어 놓은 책!! 학교에서도 온책읽기로 재미있어 하여 영어 라이팅 교재로 한번 해볼까 싶어 보았던 책이다.
다양한 방법들이 나와있긴 하지만 영어적인 글쓰기가 어려운 아이라면 아직은 어려울만한 책이며 이 책을 통해 원서를 가지고 글쓰기를 시도해본다면 좋을것 같다

한글 번역판으로는 복면공주라고 나와있는데. 아이는 원서가 훨씬 재미있다고 한다.
만화로 되어있고 컬러로 되어 있는 몇 안되는 원서이기 때문에 둘째가 특히 애정하며 좋아라 하는 시리즈 중에 하나!! 특히 공주캐릭터와 모험을 좋아하는 여아라면 완젼 취향저격할 만한 시리즈라고 생각된다
그리고 적절하게 유머코드도 들어있어 흥미와 재미를 둘다 갖춘 몇 안되는 여자아이들이 좋아할만한 책!

After reading this book , I can honestly say it’s a good story and looking for the fourth part of this series that’s if there is going to be fourth , the ending “no spoilers “ implied a possible sequel to this series but that depends on the Author. All in all an epic adventure for Roz the Wild Robot.

I have to say it's been some years since I read this book. I came across it as I am sorting old books out. And this is one I will hold onto. It's message has been with me since I have read it. I remembered it when I saw the book, and realized it has become part of my life. If you read to learn about yourself or others. This is a must read.

The story takes place in that big beautiful hotel on the cover, called Winterhouse. There is a girl, Elizabeth and a boy, Freddy, who have adventures and solve ghostly mysteries in the hotel. The book has a lot of fun with word ladders and codes. My girls totally loved it, and we’ve bought the entire series. There is nothing inappropriate in this book, no words I wouldn’t want my children saying, no bad behavior by the children, though Emily does tell a lie.

A trend in recent years is to tell the backstory of characters we grew up with, and the majority of the time; they are the villains cause the stories we know always tell the story about the hero. How did Wonka become this famous Candy Maker with his factory with oompa loompas, wonderful inventive candies, and the opportunity to share it with Charlie Bucket? We get all the answers to these questions and much more in Wonka. Wonka is a great tie-in to the movie that will be released soon for us all to enjoy.

1.2권은 번역본으로 보았지만 그 뒤로는 원서로 찾아보면 더 좋을것 같아 읽어본 책이에요.
이 책은 중간중간 보드게임을 하는 듯한 묘사와 퀴즈가 있어 색다른 경험을 하게 해 준 책이었다.
책속에서는 친구들끼리 경쟁을 할때에도 공정하게 하는 것을 강조한다. 또한 반칙을 쓰거나 남을 이용하는 행위는 용납하지 않는다. 팀을 짜서 함께 서로 도우며 지혜를 모아 탈출을 도모하는 아이들의 모습이 자랑스러웠다.

I read Ivan and Ruby's stories before this one and wasn't sure what to expect. Bob is a snarky dog, and his narrative was pretty solid, but that storm was intense! I had a really hard time pausing to make dinner and then get kids in bed. Kimu freaked me out in the best kind of way. Stretch the giraffe and Ivan and that banana gave me a good laugh. I loved the parts with Snickers, too. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the action. It was a great book!

남자 아이도 여자아이도 좋아할만한 시리즈!!
챕터북으로 들어갈때 보면 좋은 시리즈이고. 그림책과 챕터북 사이의 완벽한 징검다리 역할을 해줄 수 있는 책이라고 생각합니다. 나의 아이는 그 시리즈에 나오는 등장인물이 귀엽고 그들만의 개성과 취미가 있고 각각 자기들만의 특징이 살아있는 스토리들이 있다고 좋아했습니다. 책은 주변에서 일어날 수 있는 실제적인 스토리들이 있어서 더욱더 재미를 느낄 수 있습니다
