세상에서 가장 긴 강아지 루씨에 관한 이야기입니다. 이 강아지는 고래보다 훨씬 길고 얼마나 긴지 사막과 바다를 건너갈만큼 길어요. 이 강아지의 끝이 어디일지 책으로 아이와 만나보시길 추천드려요. 강아지를 좋아하는 아이라면 더더욱 몰입하며 빠져들 수 있어요!! 그리고 상상할 수 있게 만들어 주는 그림책이라 아이들에게 더욱더 많은 자극들을 줄 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

이 책은 컬러부터 아이들의 시선을 끌고 책을 읽다 보면 간결하면서도 흥이 나고 신나게 되는 마법 같은책!! 책에 들어있는 씨디를 들어보면 한 가수가 여러버젼으로 이 책을 읽어주는데 정말 여러번 듣게 되는.. 들을때마다 신나서 춤추게 되는 그런책이에요~ 아이가 노래로 영어를 즐기게 하고 싶다면 이 책을 추천해요!! 그리고 이 작가는 색감 유머 둘다 아이들에게 인기있을만한 요소들을 잘 알고 있어요 ㅎㅎ

The book is a perfect companion with the lesson - we love the illustrations
Bad News: I bought a few new books to read to my son while I'm holding his little baby brother on the couch. Often, I have to pause to attend to the baby, and since this story only contains 4 words, it can be hard to remember what I was talking about.

This is a brightly colored, sweet fun children's book that has a subtle message of being ok with who we are. It is easily animated to read as the BIG mouth frog, to delight the little ones. A winner in our home.

한글책으로도 봤었던 책이라 반가웠던.. 영어책으로 보니 훨씬 더 이해가 쉽고 아이와 읽어 보며 다시 한번 책이 주는 의미를 읽어보니 좋았어요.. 이 책은 실수가 장애물이 아니라 창의성과 자기 발견의 디딤돌이라는 생각을 독자에게 전달해주고 있어요 아이들에게 불완전성을 포용하고 성장의 기회로 바꾸는 것의 중요성을 가르쳐주면서 실수에 대한 긍정적인 관점을 보여주고 있어서 더욱 좋았습니다

We joke that our son is the kids of many faces, so when I saw this book I couldn’t resist. It’s nothing amazing, but it’s cute and he likes it. The board pages are sturdy and have held up well with little hands so far.

The book was much larger than the version we had at the library (a small hardcover). I LOVE
this book.
The story is HILARIOUS and the animals are so cute. I love the illustration so much. My kids just love it! I was so impressed that the author wrote AND illustrated the book! I got several of her other books and they are all so so so good and funny/cute!!

Such a clever book; I think you could actually use this book to teach the difficult concept of irony. You wouldn't expect a sly, clever fox to be outwitted by a pig of all things. And, it's the pig who has the lucky day, not the fox, and you wouldn't expect a pig meeting a fox to have the lucky day.

I am so excited to see how excited he is about reading now. I’m finding the story very fun to read, it’s entertaining and funny and sweet at times. I have a good feeling he’s going to be reading this series (eventually entirely on his own one day) for years to come. Every kid should have a memory of that series that made you want to stay up all night reading with a flashlight.

sure will love it too. Loaded with details about Wings of Fire characters, tribes, and maps of kingdoms. Good saturation of color in original illustrations.

Follow the unlikely hero Tim as he tries to leave peasant hood and become a knight. It won’t be easy the task is to save the princess from a foul smelling creature called the Stinx. This book will leave you laughing and cheering for Tim and Belinda.

Leg-pulling is, in fact, the exact sensation I experienced when being introduced to Aerwiar in the first few chapters. It was delightfully far-fetched. I felt like I was listening to an old man, like Podo himself, spinning tall tales. Andrew Peterson’s prose is unorthodox and lyrical, weaving together scenes of courage, beauty, and pathos with cunning humour. I loved it.

I received a copy of the 2nd book by this author so bought this one to read first. I was certainly not disappointed. Started reading this to my class last week and they are absolutely loving it. We read a book as a class then it is always available for anyone who wants to read it again independently. There is already a waiting list for it! Love it!

It's fun and fantastical and exciting. It has themes of bravery and heroism. With the next child I'll probably wait until more around age 8 to read it. Some of it went over his head. And there were some lines I skipped over. Some violence that was a little too much for a young child, and some mean remarks between siblings that I don't love for young ones to hear.

This book was super engaging and hilarious! I used to read the Spy School series a lot when I was younger but then stopped for some reason. Then I found this book and after reading it, I remember why I loved this series so much. Thank you Stuart Gibbs for writing this book!

I love books by this author! I bought this series for my son who is in 6th grade. He absolutely loves it. The characters are really likeable and the details of the mysteries really intriguing. Well-written and fun; these books are page-turners!

City of the Dead continues to deliver the thrills, historical anecdotes and adventures of the awesome characters we’ve come to know and love in the City Spies series. But the best part is the continuation of the through line regarding Mother and his family- both found and otherwise. For mystery lovers of all ages!

I read Pax a long time ago and loved it but hesitated to read this one because most of the time sequels aren't as good. Well, I was wrong! It's just as good. Some serious subjects with more life lessons. This book continues Peter and Pax's story and brings them closure. It feels complete now and I'm so happy I finally decided to read it.
