Loved it. Covers all the emotions love, hate, empathy, fear, sadness, hope humor.
The journey with Will and his loss of Alyss is so well thought out. Brings tears to my eyes every time. This is the third time I have read the series.

"The Bad Guys in Look Who's Talking" has been an absolute game-changer for my daughter's reading journey. As a parent of a child who initially struggled with reading, finding a book series that captures her interest and improves her reading skills has been a blessing. This particular installment of 'The Bad Guys' series is no exception.

Love this little book about recycling fabric into many different things. I mean quilts were originally made from left over pieces of fabric... We live in such a buy and toss society that we forgot the beauty in reusing.

This is a very simple book about a little boy who gets bored on a rainy day, so his father pretends to turn him into a pizza. The pictures really make this book, and the looks on Pete’s face while he’s being made into pizza are priceless. My kids, 8 and 5, constantly ask me to make them into pizzas like Pete.

Who doesn't love this classic folk story? And the art is a perfect match for the story, zany and bright, it has us laughing just as much at it as with the story itself. Perfect for reading to a small one or teaching a new reader.

The original Ketchup on Your Cornflakes book is a real pre-school classic, offering the elements of interaction, choice and humour simultaneously. This Christmas themed edition will make for a nice change throughout the festive period.

This book is great for children who are learning to use different modes of communication. It allows them to focus on bringing sign language, PECS, as well as other various adaptive devices. I LOVE IT!!

How does Santa go down the chimney? It’s a question many of us have probably asked at one time or another and is the issue that Mac Barnett examines in his children’s book HOW DOES SANTA GO DOWN THE CHIMNEY. The book proposes several ways that Santa might get down a chimney. However, it seems that for every possible answer, there are a series of other questions that arise. I did like the idea presented that Santa must be a great dog lover.

Grandpa read this book to my daughter so much the pages are worn. He cared for her as a toddler for a couple years while I was in school. She still has her original book but ordered grandpa his very own as a Christmas gift.

What a WONDERful first book of the year! I read this book almost too quickly, I wanted it to last longer. This might be technically a children's book, but it really was such a special and meaningful read and I highly recommend that everyone read this once in their lives!

Jonas is an 11-year-old boy living in what he believes is an idyllic community. Crime is low, and everyone is assigned jobs that they love. When Jonas turns 12, he will finally learn what role he is to fulfill in the community.
When I was a child, I read The Giver, and I loved it. As an adult, I read The Giver and loved it even more.

Absolutely delightful. I really wish I'd read this when I was a kid - I would have related to and loved Matilda so much! I like that this is a book for children that doesn't cater to them - it treats them like intelligent beings. The plot was exciting, the characters fun, and the themes interesting

This is probably one of the most recent Newbery awards winners that I’ve loved. This story is so beautiful, about a young girl dealing with some confusing and difficult matters but also weaving some Korean folklore into the story.

Most of all, I like how easy to digest the author makes all this information. I have a lot of respect for authors who can present something complex in simple terms. I've always liked the quote attributed to Einstein “If You Can’t Explain it to a Six Year Old, You Don’t Understand it Yourself”. Anyone with a thesaurus can make something seem more dense and complicated than it is; it's much harder to explain something long and complicated in a way that everyone can enjoy.

Both a glorious, riotously funny return to the world myself and so many others love and an interesting examination of nostalgia and how this series has aged with its readers, The Chalice of the Gods simultaneously left my heart full and made me for excited for more adventures to come.

A masterful mystery that grabbed me on the first line and held fast to the last. Gibbs deftly weaves two enticing mysteries with a wealth of oceanographic facts. I absolutely LOVED the story and learned A LOT along the way.

I love this series and can't wait to read this book, the only thing I see wrong with the paper back version is a few blemishes on the spine but I may be able to cover them with blue paint. Well see...
But anyways, all the book in this series is good, you should definitely read them if you want some fantasy that is a bit different!
