Jordan Banks is transferred to a new school and is struggling to adapt to the new environment. His school has only few students of color and he is trying to see where he fits in. He sees things(the micro aggressions especially) and we can see his thoughts and views through his drawings.

This book not only highlights Banks, it also shows us how Jordan who studies on a financial aid is being teased both for his color and his status. Then there is Drew who stood up to a racist teacher. And with Liam and Alexa, this book gives us a beautiful thought provoking story. I've never read any book like this. Highly recommend!

I wish there were more books in the series. We picked up one from the local library as it was part of a reading content. My son loved it and wanted me to order more, so I got the entire series. He finished these off in a week, and he was so happy reading these. Wish there were more in the series!

The ten-book series of Spy School has been a delightful series to read at bedtime with my 12- & 14-year-old boys. The series has just the right amount of action, history, facts, cliff hangers, etc. to keep them interested - prolonging my "daddy time" with them just a few more years! Thank you, Stuart Gibbs, for both Spy School and Charlie Thorne!!

The author has written this for ages 7 to 10 and is indeed perfect for these ages. I used the Cloud to read this and it worked really well. The illustrations are excellent and accompany the story. Superb, in fact.

I loved the fact that there was a lot of humor included in it. In addition, lots of 'big' words for this age group. Some that I noticed were: sabotage, prototype, simulation, scenario, grappling, annihilation, and persuasive. So, in addition to the outstanding story it is also educational.

I really liked reading this book and it even Made me laugh . The only thing is that greg the protagonist of the series is overshadowed by Rodrick . It Makes the book a little more unique but it should be called something like “diary of Rodrick”

I just have to say you did an amazing job of writing this long a book. I also love that Sophie is not relying on everyone so much. Please try to ignore the bad reviews because you are an amazing writer.
Yes the book was a bit slow but it was amazing overall.

This book came quickly and it came as described. I found out that the hard back version of this book has color pictures, whereas the paperback only has black & white pictures. But, the paperback has an extra 10 page excerpt from Linh's point of view, so there's that benefit.

My daughter borrowed this series from the library and has been begging me to buy her the full series so she can have it at home and reread whenever she feels like it. Shannon is officially favorite author. She loves the way it’s written.

i thought that the book was very well created and i think that even your grandparents wold like it because the other day i was going up to my bedroom and i saw my granda reading it so thought well i should leave him alone a few minutes later he came downstairs laughing like mad! so pwease read this book bye remember dog zombies rule and oh yeah!

his book is great for adultes and kids.
It's funny and interesting and there is a lot of pictures and I thing they were funnh too. When I was reading this book I was like absorbed in the book. This book has a lot of drama with Delia(sister) and the dogzombies(band made with Derek, Tom gates and Norman.

This is a very good book.Not a challanging book though however it is very enjoyable especially for youger readers ages group is kids and recomended for others who like comedy and do not mind reading about school and I also like how the author and the illostrator made it feel like a homey book.

I think one of the things that makes the books so enjoyable is the style of illustration and doodles, it's something children can copy," she explained. I totally agree with the writer. my children copied a lot of the doodling of this book.

맥바넷의 그림책도 좋아했던 지라 엄마의 선택에 의해 4권을 구입하고 난 후 아이가 재밌어 하여 차례대로 5권 6권을 구입하여 읽게 되었다. 어린시절 맥의 이야기를 바탕으로 쓴 첩보물의 이 이야기는 역시나 영국 여왕의 전화가 오며 사건이 전개된다. 영국 여왕이 임무를 맡기면 맥이 그 상황들을 해결해 나가는데 그 과정들이 재미있고 흥미진진하다!! 또한 그림책 작가여서 인지 그림들도 여전히 사랑스럽다

이 책을 읽기 전까지는 두꺼운 영어책을 잘 읽지 못하였는데 이 책은 몰입하게 되는 경험을 하게 해주었어요. 또한 저희 아이는 해리포터 덕후이긴 하지만 해리포터를 영어 원서로는 좋아하지 않았는데 이 책은 두번 세번도 읽고 엄마인 저에게 꼭 같이 읽어봤으면 좋겠다 라고 자꾸 애기하는 책중에 하나입니다. 이 책은 친구들에게도 여러번 추천하기도 했고 학교에서 북페어 할때에도 진행했던 책중에 하나라 애정합니다

아이의 말을 빌리자면 오팔이라는 소녀가 이사오게 된 슈퍼마켓에서 만난 개와 가족이 되면서 일어나는 애기였다. 아이는 이 개를 만나고 나서 동네에서 다른 많은 사람들과 교류하게 되고. 낯설기만 했던 동네가 익숙하게 된다. 그 과정에서 윈딕시가 많은 역할들을 하게 되고 저는 아이의 이야기들을 듣게 되며 오팔과 윈딕시가 서로 마음을 나누는 따뜻한 장면들이 떠올리게 되더라구요~ 아이에게 내용을 듣고 전 한글책으로 찾아서 읽게 된 책중에 하나입니다

저희집 둘째가 공감하며 보았던 책중의 하나이고 한글책으로도 너무 좋아하여 영어책을 보고도 좋아했던 책중의 하나다~ 표현들이 생생하며 아이에게 읽어주기에도 부담 없으며 엄마와 아이 둘다 깔깔 웃으며 애기할 수 있는 책중의 하나이다. 또한 주인공 아이와 똑같이 경험했던 것들을 애기하며 대화도 무궁무진하게 이어 나갈 수 있었던 책이다~ 기회가 된다면 쌍둥이 책으로도 꼭 같이 읽어보라고 권하고 싶다
