학교에서 사영하는 책인데, 단어와 의미를 천천히 파악하며 읽으면 실력이 늘 것 같아요

This was the second book by Grace Lin I have read. I enjoyed the stories that were woven throughout the main story. I love seeing her pictures throughout the book and wish there were more.
As with her book, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, Grace Lin uses a young girl to show us how we all have the ability to overcome obstacles, no matter how useless we may feel.

그레이스 린 작가님의 책들은 웬만하면 다 읽으려고 하는 편이에요. 아무래도 영어로 된 책들을 읽다보니 동양의 사람이 메인 주인공으로 등장하는 경우가 은근 드물거든요. 그레이스 린 작가님의 책들을 읽으면 확실히 동양적인 분위기가 풍기고, 소재들이나 스토리 전개들에서도 동양적 색채가 띄어 개인적으로 더 와닿고 재미있게 느껴지는 것 같아요. 표지도 예뻐서 마음에 들었어요.
