아이가 영어책을 무척 좋아하고, 좋아하는 원서들은 거의 외우다시피 할 정도로 읽고 또 읽곤 하는데요...중학교에 올라간 후로는 과다한 수행평가와 시험들 때문에 학기 중에 거의 영어 원서를 읽지 못했고, 어쩌다가 시간이 날 때에도 새 책을 읽으며 머리를 쓰고 싶지 않다며 읽었던 책들만 읽고 또 읽곤 했는데, 방학이 되니, 시간도 남고, 새로운 책을 보고 싶다고 해서 구매했습니다...역시나 생각했던 대로, 너무나 재미있다고 하며 정신없이 읽네요...
해리포터, 퍼시잭슨,The girl who drank the moon같이 fantasy를 좋아하는 아이들이라면 좋아할 책이라고 생각해요..
Nevermoor1권의 앞부분엔 법률용어가 많이 나와서 아이들이 자칫 어렵다고 생각하고 그만 읽을 수 있어요...하지만 그 부분만 지나가면 쉬워집니다..
The calling of Morrigan Crow는 Nevermoor의 2권인데, Nevermoor는 1권 끝부분부터 재미있기 시작해서, 2권이 더 재미있으니, 1권을 읽다가 그만두지 마시고 끝까지 정독하시길 추천드립니다!

WUNDERSMITH(The CALLING of MORRIGAN CROW)
Morrigan Crow has joined the mystical Wundrous Society, but as soon as the fact that she is a Wundersmith spreads over her Unit, Unit 919, strange notes got sent, threatening each and almost everyone of them that if they don’t do the thing the note tells them to, the senders would reveal the secret of Unit 919. Another problem is that people start to disappear that year as Morrigan finds a mysterious Gastly Market in the middle of Tricksy Lane. In the end, while she tries to save her friends and other innocent people, a traitor confesses himself and a big reversal happens. It was one of my favourite parts since it sort of connects all the consequences.
