팍스 책은 영국에서도 워낙 유명세를 타고 있던 책이지요. 일단 표지 그림 자체가 참 아름답고 따뜻한 느낌이 물씬 느껴지지요. 해당 책 역시 그런 느낌이 듬뿍 느껴지는 여우라는 주인공을 앞세워 감동적이면서 따뜻한 에피소드를 그려내고 있어요. 사람이 아닌 동물을 중심 캐릭터로 잡고 있어서 아이들 입장에서는 훨씬 쉽고 재미있게 읽힐 것 같아요. 후속작도 재미있게 읽었습니다.

I read Pax a long time ago and loved it but hesitated to read this one because most of the time sequels aren't as good. Well, I was wrong! It's just as good. Some serious subjects with more life lessons. This book continues Peter and Pax's story and brings them closure. It feels complete now and I'm so happy I finally decided to read it.
