This is a book that even a first grader could read, and yet you will gain so much knowledge and understanding of history. This series is a must have books!

If you have enjoyed reading somewhat realistic stories like "Hoot" by Carl Hiaasen, you are bound to love all of his other books about animal conservation. I chuckled at his humorous statements as I gained knowledge about animals, and I strengthen my awareness of my surroundings.

This, like the title suggests, is about warriors. They have territorial fights, schemes for survival, the instincts of the animals, love, betrayal, death... it's kind of like The Game of Thrones for kids. AR says 5.6, it was actually an easy and exciting read.

This book is about animals on adventures; two dogs, a cat, and a bunny. It's a cute series packed with humor. " I am not afraid of the cat," said the little dog. The big dog thought, "That's because you haven't lived long enough -or- Chester rubbed garlic all over him to prevent the bite, but then Mrs. Monroe picked up him and gave him a bath... LOL. If you think these are funny, you'd enjoy the book.

Primrose's parents are lost in the sea. Everyone tells her that they are dead. But she refuses to believe them. Then the town folks start making misconceptions about her. They say that she is in denial, she is mean for not bereaving, and they should put her for adoption. It's a great book to learn and feel the power of positivism.

A marvelous book for returnees from the States. The difference between WW2 and this is that Wordly Wise 3 has longer passages and word study sections. I find this book very useful, you can use it in class or to study on your own.

This series teaches you to be true to yourself and accept others for who they are. What feels right for me doesn't mean that it's right for others. And what can you do when others make fun of you for your difference? Passive aggressiveness?! Read on and figure out what the book says. Great read of Jim Benton's insights. Fun with wonderful pictures.

If I have to choose the top 10 books of my life, well Merlin Missions will be one of them! Not only the stories are educational, but it's also super exciting. You will be absorbed in them as if you were there with Jack and Annie. All those mysteries, adventures, missions, and also life lessons taught in the book will carry over in your head and linger there for a while.

Harry Potter is famous and popular for a reason! It's not an average fantasy read, for they are embedded with philosophical and ethical messages in Harry's adventures. The coming of an age story of Harry is about love in the big picture. The writing was magic, I don't know how I finished reading all of the series.

I have been using Wordly Wise like forever! Because by the time you are finished with a lesson, the book helps you to memorize words automatically. Moreover, the passages are fun- as you progress with your books, they provide more details to the same story.

I can't say that this series is entertaining as " Magic School Bus" or "Magic Tree House", but it taught more in-depth and uncommon science which other smaller children's books didn't provide, such as what water bears are, how the Earth is formed, why we need symbiosis... and more. I gave this 5 stars - education purposes. In terms of fun - 3 stars.
